An organic farm with 25-years of export experience to Europe
日本でも珍しい全園有機栽培でお茶を生産しているビオ・ファームは、1998年の誕生から今年で25年目を迎えます。日本名水百選にも選ばれた水源も近く、寒暖の差が大きく肥沃な標高100mの台地に位置する約8ヘクタールの農園で、現在13種類の茶品種を栽培しています。
BioFarm is celebrating its 25th year since its establishment in 1998. Rarely in Japan, they produce green tea organically in their whole tea garden. The farm is located near a water source, selected as one of Japan's 100 best water sources, and on a fertile plateau at 100m altitudes with significant temperature differences between day and night. BioFarm currently cultivates thirteen different tea varieties in about eight hectares of tea garden.
2種類の工場と高い製造技術
Two types of factories and high manufacturing techniques
敷地内には煎茶の加工工場と、2018年に新設したてん茶の加工工場があり、注文に応じて異なる2種類のお茶を作り分けています。煎茶工場では深蒸し茶・普通蒸し煎茶の他に、複雑な発酵工程が求められる萎凋香緑茶や紅茶、烏龍茶の製造も行っています。
There is a Sencha processing factory and a Tencha processing factory newly established in 2018, and both types of teas are made separately according to the order from customers. In addition to deep-steamed "Fukamushi" Sencha and light-steamed "Futsumushi" Sencha, the factory also manufactures withered green tea, black tea, and oolong tea, which require complicated fermentation processes.
